In spring 2011, I entered into an agreement with Lene Fredborg, DocTools, about the development of a "proposal generator" for
for one of our BUANCO systems. We agreed upon the functionality in outline. Shortly after, a solution was ready for use.
Lene kept both the time of delivery and the price. Actually, the product was ready earlier than agreed upon.
All of our sales representatives can now quickly and easily create proposals in Word that are nicely laid out and always with correct contents. After checking the contents,
it only takes the click of a button to create an e-mail with the proposal attached in PDF-format, ready for being sent. It is as easy as it gets.
This means that out customers receive a proposal within 24 hours.
We have already had the solution extended so that it now handles yet another of our systems.

Add-ins can automate or simplify tasks in Word
As a supplement to well prepared Word templates, DocTools can provide add-ins with efficient tools that can further increase the productivity in Microsoft Word.
The tools can automate or simplify tasks. This makes it possible to solve many normal tasks in half the time while improving the document quality because the tools will ensure the correct solution each time. The time spent on complicated tasks may even be reduced from several hours to a couple of minutes.
If you use Word 2003 or an earlier version, DocTools can develop a toolbar that provides easy access to all the tools (see the example below – here with Danish user interface).
If you use Word 2007 or Word 2010, DocTools can instead develop a custom tab in the Ribbon, including all the tools (see the example below – here with Danish user interface).
